At Garmol, we have been manufacturing products designed to make everyday life a little easier for many years. Until now, you probably knew us best for our Shopping trolleys. But we have decided to take things one step higher. Well, five steps, actually, as we have embarked on a new chapter as ladder manufacturers in Spain.
Garmol is embarking on a new chapter as ladder manufacturers, adding a range of ladders for domestic and professional use that is already in production.
This new product line also continues the story of models with a long history in the industry. Following the closure of Vervi, Garmol reached an agreement to continue manufacturing its well-known ladders, retaining their structural and technical features.
And so a new family of products joins our catalogue: Garmol ladders.
Garmol, new ladder manufacturers in Spain
For many years, Vervi ladders were a familiar product among hardware stores, distributors and professionals. Their disappearance left a gap in the market and also raised a question among those who already worked with them: what would happen to these models?
At Garmol, we decided to take up the baton and continue manufacturing them.
In doing so, we have also become ladder manufacturers, adding to our production models known for their strength and functionality. For businesses that previously stocked Vervi ladders, this means they can continue to offer a product with the same structural and technical features, now under the Garmol brand.
Production is already under way, and the first models are beginning to join our range.
And although ladders are new to Garmol, the philosophy behind how we make them is not: we want products that are strong, functional and built to last.
Garmol ladders with 2, 3, 4 and 5 steps: a height for every need
Not every task requires you to reach the same height. Sometimes a little extra lift is all you need to reach a shelf, while at other times that top shelf seems to have moved into the attic.
That is why one of the advantages of our new range is the choice of different heights.
The first Garmol ladders with a high safety rail are available in 2, 3, 4 and 5-step models. The range also includes Garmol 2 and 3-step stools, designed for situations where you only need to reach a lower height.
This variety makes it possible to find a suitable option for different needs, both at home and in professional settings.

From organising and maintenance tasks around the home to DIY projects, installations, warehouses, small businesses or professional work, having different numbers of steps available means you can choose the right model for the height you need to reach.
Safety and stability for climbing with confidence
When it comes to a ladder, some features are particularly important. That is why these first models of ladders for domestic and professional use incorporate a series of elements designed to provide a robust and stable structure during use.
The ladders are made from rectangular steel tubing with a white epoxy finish and feature a high safety rail, providing an additional point of support when standing on the ladder.
Another key feature is their large-surface steps. They are made from black polypropylene and have a non-slip textured surface. They also provide a generous 21×35 cm standing surface.
At the bottom, black polypropylene feet are fitted to the ends of the legs.
A combination of materials and technical features designed with one simple goal in mind: to manufacture robust ladders for everyday use.
Technical features of Garmol ladders
As well as choosing the number of steps, knowing the dimensions and weight of each model makes it easier to find the ladder that best suits each need and the space available for storage.
All ladders with a high safety rail feature the Stand Up System. Thanks to this system, the ladder remains standing once folded, making it easier to store when not in use.
These are the dimensions of the first models to enter production:
| Model | Dimensions open | Dimensions folded | Weight |
| Garmol 2-step ladder | 105 × 46 × 60 cm | 113 × 46 × 12 cm | 4.20 kg |
| Garmol 3-step ladder | 129 × 46 × 80 cm | 136 × 46 × 12 cm | 5.50 kg |
| Garmol 4-step ladder | 150 × 46 × 80 cm | 162 × 46 × 12 cm | 6.50 kg |
| Garmol 5-step ladder | 173 × 46 × 100 cm | 185 × 46 × 12 cm | 7.90 kg |
| Garmol 2-step stool | 53 × 41 × 46 cm | 72 × 41 × 8 cm | 4.15 kg |
| Garmol 3-step stool | 69 × 41 × 60 cm | 92 × 41 × 8 cm | 5.25 kg |
The range therefore goes from a compact two-step stool to a six-step ladder, while maintaining the same approach to manufacturing based on strength and functionality.
Built to last: the Garmol philosophy comes to our ladders
There is one thing that does not change as we move from manufacturing Shopping trolleys to becoming ladder manufacturers too: the way we understand what makes a good product.
At Garmol, we are committed to quality, strength and durability. We like to manufacture products designed to withstand everyday use and stay with you for many years.
And extending the useful life of a product does not depend solely on using strong materials. It also means thinking about the parts that may wear over the years.
A good example is the feet on the ladders. These parts are located at the ends of the legs and are in contact with the floor, so they can wear down with use. That is why Garmol ladders have replacement feet available.
As you know, at Garmol we like to extend the useful life of our products, and we think it makes far more sense to replace a foot cap than an entire ladder. If, over time, a foot cap needs replacing, that part can simply be changed and the ladder can continue to be used.
It is a small decision that sums up our approach to manufacturing rather well. We aim to make robust products, but we also want to help them remain in use for as long as possible. Extending their useful life means making better use of materials, reducing unnecessary replacements and getting much more out of every product.
It is a philosophy we have applied to our Shopping trolleys for years and one that we are now bringing to our Garmol ladders too.
This is only the beginning: ladders with low safety rails coming soon
The models we are presenting are the first to enter production, but the new range of Garmol ladders will continue to grow.
We have started with ladders featuring high safety rails and 2, 3, 4 and 5 steps, as well as 2 and 3-step stools.
We will soon also be adding ladders with low safety rails, expanding the available options to suit different uses and needs.
Our aim is to continue developing this new family of ladders for domestic and professional use while maintaining the values we apply to our products: functionality, strength, quality and durability.
Garmol takes another step up
Our move into becoming ladder manufacturers opens a new chapter for Garmol and also gives continuity to models that were already well known in the market.
If we had to sum up this new range in three points, they would be these:
- Variety: ladders with high safety rails from 2 to 6 steps and 2 and 3-step stools (ladders with low safety rails coming soon)
- Strength and functionality: steel structure, wide steps with a non-slip textured surface and Stand Up System on the ladders.
- Durability: products designed for a long useful life, with the option to replace parts subject to wear: the foot caps.
We have spent many years helping you carry your shopping. Now we also want to help you reach that top shelf that has been getting away with thinking it was untouchable for far too long.
If you are a distributor, hardware store or would like to receive more information about the new Garmol ladders, you can get in touch with our team.
